Todd Gurley’s knee looks set to become an ongoing story this season, with the Los Angeles Rams running back still a definite health worry.
According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the Rams have “no idea” how Gurley’s knee will respond in Week 1 or at any point in the season, and are essentially flying blind.
On Fox, @JayGlazer says of the #LARams dealing with RB Todd Gurley:
"The Rams are kinda going into this blind. They have no idea how the knee's going to respond today or any week this season."

It’s not exactly great news. Gurley floundered down the stretch and played a lesser role in the playoffs, with his trainer citing an “arthritic component” to Gurley’s knee issues. The Rams have suggested that his workload will be limited this year in response.
Despite back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and 30 touchdowns over a two-year span, there are real and clear concerns about how healthy the 25-year-old can remain going forward, and it’s only Week 1.
