Report: David Irving being investigated for choking allegation
Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle David Irving is facing some serious allegations, and they could lead to at least one felony charge if authorities determine there is enough evidence to pursue the case.
On Monday, the Frisco Police Department confirmed that Irving is being investigated over three allegations stemming from an April 22 incident. His girlfriend reportedly called police on two separate occasions at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., and it sounds like she is claiming she was choked by Irving.

Irving recently signed his restricted free agent tender with Dallas, which was expected to keep him with the team through 2018. The 24-year-old racked up seven sacks in just eight games last season. During the season, he created a stir by posting a racy photo of himself on social media.
