Ric Flair surprises Sergio Brown during radio interview (Audio)
As you have likely heard or seen, Indianapolis Colts defensive back Sergio Brown celebrated last weekend’s playoff with over the Cincinnati Bengals by busting out his best Ric Flair impression in the locker room. He did a damn good job, too.
And we’re not the only ones who appreciated the impersonation. The Nature Boy himself liked it so much that he decided to surprise Brown during Sergio’s interview with SiriusXM’s NFL Radio on Tuesday. You can hear the audio of a star-struck Brown below:
Flair did note that he is trying to live down the Nature Boy persona, but the wrestling legend obviously respected Brown’s impression. Flair also said that he is good friends with Denver Broncos head coach John Fox and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio, which drew some grumbling from Brown.
Even if Flair is sick of people going “woo!” to him in public, kudos to him for being a great sport. Brown isn’t the only one who grew up idolizing the Nature Boy, as evidenced by this end zone dance we saw from Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce earlier this season.
You can expect Brown to be even more animated with his Flair impression if the Colts knock off the Broncos. Here’s the original video:
