Robert Griffin III has taken his second offseason visit, and the destination is an intriguing one.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported that Griffin is in Cleveland for a weekend visit with the Browns.
The Browns, it is believed, are assessing their full array of options in the search of a quarterback. Their head coach, Hue Jackson, is also highly regarded as a quarterback coach who is capable of putting his signal-callers in situations to succeed.
The Browns are looking left and right for their quarterback. Griffin joins Colin Kaepernick on the list of veteran quarterbacks linked to the Browns, while they may also consider one with the second pick in the draft. As for Griffin, this is his second visit of the offseason, having already checked out the New York Jets, though that meeting was reportedly leverage in the Ryan Fitzpatrick sweepstakes. Don’t be surprised if he visits the Denver Broncos, too.
