Sammy Watkins rips ‘loser’ fans for questioning his durability

Sammy-Watkins

Sammy Watkins is having a frustrating season with the Buffalo Bills, and the former Clemson star has allowed his emotions to get the best of him on more than one occasion.

Earlier this month, Watkins called out the Bills for not giving him enough targets and making him look bad. The timing was bizarre considering he hadn’t played the week before, but he returned to action that week and saw five targets before leaving a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals with a calf injury.

Now that he is back on the shelf, Watkins took to Instagram this week to blast fans who criticize him for not playing hurt.

“To all the people that have a problem with me being injured you guys go out there and play this sport it’s a 100% injury rate,” he wrote. “I’m not first or last person that’s gone be injured difference from me and you guys y’all mad and I’m not get a life and goto work stop worrying about my job because I’m good on this end and forever will be losers most of you just wish to be in this position so continue working y’all little jobs for the rest of y’all lives since everyone once a response here go one have a blessed day.”

The post was quickly deleted, but not before Fansided captured a screenshot.

The revolving door Buffalo has had at quarterback has made it difficult to get any real return on the 4th overall pick they spent on Watkins in last year’s draft. And now that Watkins is seemingly unable to stay healthy, you have to wonder if the Bills regret ranking him higher than a certain superstar who makes incredibly catches look easy.
