Marshawn Lynch closer to signing with Seahawks after passing physical
Marshawn Lynch’s return to the Seattle Seahawks is looking closer to happening.
Lynch went to Seattle on Monday to visit with the team and underwent a physical. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says the physical went well and that a reunion is closer to reality.
The #Seahawks’ physical for FA RB Marshawn Lynch went well and as expected, source said. No issues there, as a signing and reunion moves closer to reality.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter said at halftime of “Monday Night Football” that the two sides are expected to get a deal done.
The Seahawks already were without Rashaad Penny, who suffered a season-ending knee injury earlier this month. Then they lost both Chris Carson and CJ Prosise to injuries in the loss to Arizona on Sunday. They have already signed Robert Turbin, and it seems like Lynch could be next.
Lynch is 33 and appeared in just six games with the Oakland Raiders last season. Some may say he’s rusty, but he could prove that he is merely rested. Having him back in Seattle would be quite the story after he last played for them in 2015.
