Seahawks signing former Panthers quarterback
The Seattle Seahawks are adding another quarterback to their depth chart.
Seattle is signing free agent P.J. Walker, Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday.
#Seahawks GM John Schneider joins The Insiders tonight, but first he has other business: Seattle is signing FA QB PJ Walker, sources tell The Insiders. Some depth prior to minicamp.

Walker, 29, played quarterback at Temple in college under Matt Rhule and attracted attention from NFL teams after playing well in the XFL in 2020. He then signed with Carolina in 2020 when Rhule was the NFC South team’s head coach. Walker spent three seasons with the Panthers before playing for the Cleveland Browns last year.
In 21 career games, Walker has passed for 2,135 yards, 6 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
Seattle has Geno Smith slated as their starting quarterback for 2024, with Sam Howell also in the mix to compete.
