Terrell Suggs brags about being arrested for driving with suspended license
Terrell Suggs was arrested in Arizona early Friday morning for driving with a suspended license, and the Baltimore Ravens star took to social media several hours later to make light of the situation.
Suggs was booked just after 2 a.m. following a minor car accident outside a Mexican restaurant. No one was injured, but police were called to the scene and discovered that Suggs’ license had been suspended due to speeding tickets. His rep, Denise White, later confirmed the incident took place.
“This morning Terrell Suggs was in a single car collision, no one was injured,” White said in a statement, via TMZ. “Police were called and upon speaking with Terrell found his license to be suspended for speeding tickets.
“He was detained by the police and released a couple hours later. Terrell will let the judicial system take its course and fix his license issues.”
Suggs later posted a “thug life” meme on Instagram:
Suggs has been criticized on the field for taking some cheap shots, the most recent of which you can see here. While driving with a suspended license isn’t exactly jail-worthy, some might not appreciate him laughing it off.
