The Tennessee Titans apparently tried to crowdsource their playbook in Saturday’s preseason opener against the San Diego Chargers and were actually met with some surprising success.
According to a report by Trey Wingo of ESPN on Monday, the Titans let fans call the first two plays of the game against the Chargers and wound up generating 46 total yards out of it. In contrast, the next three plays, which were back to normal with the coaches calling them, only managed to gain a combined five yards.

Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk adds that the play calls were auctioned off to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, ultimately raising $20,000.
The Titans would go on to win the game by the final of 27-10, and with the team entering their first full season under head coach Mike Mularkey, perhaps they could pick up a thing or two from the Madden generation.
