Calvin Ridley is trending in the right direction heading into the Tennessee Titans’ Week 5 matchup.

The Titans wide receiver has been dealing with knee and elbow injuries going into the team’s Sunday game against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Ridley is “likely to play” against the Cardinals pending one final check-in during pregame warmups.

Tennessee also received positive news on running back Tyjae Spears, who is also expected to play despite similarly being listed as questionable due to a lingering ankle injury.

Ridley caught 24 passes for 141 through four games in a season that has left Ward’s father completely exasperated thus far.

The Titans need all hands on deck if they hope to turn their season around. Tennessee has gone 0-4 to start the season, with the latest loss coming in a 26-0 beatdown at the hands of the Houston Texans.

The defeat was so demoralizing that rookie quarterback Cam Ward felt the need to use some unsavory words to describe his team’s current state.
