Video shows how sloppy Kadarius Toney was at line of scrimmage
Kadarius Toney made a critical mistake near the end of the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and a new video helped show just how careless the wide receiver was on the play.
Toney was called for being lined up offsides late in the Chiefs’ 20-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. on Sunday. The crucial mistake negated what would have been an incredible go-ahead touchdown from Toney, who caught a lateral pass from Travis Kelce and scored.
The Chiefs were furious over the call, but replays made it clear that Toney was lined up way past the line of scrimmage. Not only that, but a video that was taken by a fan showed that Toney only made a motion toward the down judge to let the official know that he was one of the players on the line of scrimmage. He never looked over again to see if he was lined up onsides.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid called the flag “embarrassing” after the game, arguing that officials typically give a warning if a player is lined up offsides. Reid changed his tune on Monday and admitted that Toney did not check if he was onsides and should have.
There was one particular angle of the play that showed Toney was nowhere near being onsides. Patrick Mahomes and company immediately blamed the officials for something the Chiefs felt should have been let go, but it is clear their anger should be directed toward Toney.
