Mike McDaniel continues to be the greatest goofball in the National Football League.
The Miami Dolphins coach McDaniel had a priceless moment at halftime of his team’s game against against the New England Patriots on Sunday night. After giving his sideline interview to NBC’s Melissa Stark, McDaniel began jogging to the locker room. Upon seeing the NBC cameraman hot on his tail, McDaniel turned on the jets and basically started Olympic sprinting his way off the field in a lighthearted effort to lose the cameraman.
Here is the video of the magnificent moment.

That cameraman didn’t stand a chance, especially with all of his equipment presumably in tow. It is not every day that an NFL head coach can make you feel self-conscious about your cardio, yet here we are.
This is spectacularly on-brand for the 40-year-old McDaniel though. He marches to the beat of his own drum in every possible way and won’t slow his roll just so that you can get a good shot of him on national television.
