The NFL regular season is a month away, and former Pro Bowl pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue is reportedly attemping a comeback.
Ngakoue didn’t play in 2025, but he has been working out in hopes of landing a deal.

Ngakoue’s last team was the New England Patriots, although they released him right before the season finale in the 2024 regular season.
Bgakoue began his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars after being selected in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He then bounced around quite a bit, spending time with the Minnesota Vikings, Las Vegas Raiders, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens before going to New England.
Yannick Ngakoue had two separate stints with Baltimore, and he played five games there in 2024 before being released and joining New England.
Ngakoue’s only Pro Bowl season came in 2017, when he had a career high 12 sacks and six forced fumbles with the Jaguars. He is 31 years old, so it will be interesting to see if any teams takes a flier on the former Maryland Terrapins star.
