Nick Faldo quotes Imagine Dragons song as Patrick Reed wins Masters
Nick Faldo waited until the very last second to break out one of the most bizarre announcers calls in golf history as the Masters came to a close on Sunday.
Patrick Reed won the first major championship of his career by posting a score of 15-under for the tournament, which was one stroke better than Rickie Fowler. With Fowler in the clubhouse at 14-under, Reed needed a par on the 18th hole to capture the green jacket. As he was waiting to putt, Faldo quoted the song “Radioactive” from the band Imagine Dragons.

And if that wasn’t unusual enough, Faldo made another Imagine Dragons reference after Reed tapped in for par.

That probably would have been a good time to bring up the fact that Nike would not let Reed wear the shirt he wanted on Sunday at Augusta National, but Faldo went the Imagine Dragons route instead. We can’t say we’ve ever seen that before.
