Scottie Scheffler is showing frustration just a week after his arrest at the PGA Championship, though this was for a different reason.
Scheffler is playing in the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. After shooting a 2-over 70 in the first round on Thursday, Scheffler turned things around by going 5-under in his second round on Friday. But his second round did not come without some frustration.
Scheffler was on the par-5 11th (his second hole of the round) and had a birdie opportunity. He thought he had made it, but his putt from the edge of the rough hit the lip and zipped past the hole.

Scheffler flipped his putter in frustration and could be heard saying, “screw these greens, man.”

Though he settled for par on that hole, Scheffler picked up five birdies throughout the rest of his round, including birdies on four straight holes. He would have loved to have another one, but his strong round put him within striking distance of the lead, which stood at 8-under par at the time this story was published.
