Tiger Woods has not played on the PGA Tour since the 2024 Open Championship, but is coming off another back surgery with The Masters two months away. Despite that, Woods is not ready to give up the dream just yet.
Woods had a one-word answer about whether The Masters were off the table when asked about it at the 2026 Genesis Invitational on Tuesday.
“No,” Woods said.

To be clear, Woods has to be considered a longshot for this year’s Masters. The tournament is less than two months away, and he had disk replacement surgery on his lower back four months ago. He also suffered an Achilles tear roughly a year ago, though that might not be as significant a problem at this point.
Woods loves The Masters, though he has admitted that he is not sure how many more of them he will be able to play in. The 50-year-old will do everything he can to be ready to go this year, but it might simply be too much to ask.
