Several months ago, we shared with you a report that indicated actress Hayden Panettiere and boxer Wladimir Klitschko are secretly engaged. The couple began dating in 2009 and split up in 2011. They have since gotten back together, and Panettiere decided to formerly announce on Wednesday that Klitschko recently proposed to her.
Panettiere revealed the news during her appearance on “Live with Kelly and Michael.” She was sporting a massive boa constrictor snake around her neck — which she brought with her because of a running joke she has about Michael Strahan being afraid of snakes — when Kelly Ripa noticed a large diamond on her left ring finger. Ripa asked Panettiere if it signified anything.
“I think it speaks for itself,” she joked while flashing the massive stone.
The previous report about Panettiere’s and Klitschko’s engagement claimed the “Nashville” star was already planning their wedding, but she said on Wednesday that a date has not been set. In any event, it appears the seemingly happy couple has worked out whatever differences they may have had.
