Nadia Forde denies she is dating Rory McIlroy

Rory McIlroy broke off his engagement with Caroline Wozniacki less than three weeks ago, and the 25-year-old golfer has already found himself at the center of new relationship rumors. Various gossip reports have indicated that McIlroy may be dating Irish model and singer Nadia Forde.

Gambling websites have set odds for who McIlroy will date next, and Forde is one of the favorites at around 6-to-1. However, she firmly denied the rumors in an interview with the Irish Independent.

“No, no,” Forde said. “I wouldn’t be putting money on me if I was anyone at home. I’ve heard so many stories about myself with so many different people it just becomes laughable at this stage.”

Some have even speculated that Forde inspired McIlroy to break up with Woz.

“We have mutual friends, that’s it. We’ve met a few times,” she added. “I think I’m just being dragged into something that has nothing to do with me. … Nadia’s love life is pretty nonexistent at the moment, and that’s fine. It’s not my top priority.”

As we have learned with chatter surrounding the athlete-celebrity dating game, it can be extremely difficult to separate truth from fiction. McIlroy reportedly felt his relationship was hurting his golf game, so I doubt he’s going to jump into anything serious right away. My guess is golf is his main focus at the moment, especially with the US Open starting later this week.
