Devils give away David Puddy bobblehead for ’90s night

David Puddy Devils

The New Jersey Devils hosted a “’90s night” for their game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday, and they brought out the biggest gun of all. Patrick Warburton, the actor who played David Puddy in “Seinfeld,” attended the game and partook in the festivities.

Warburton, who appeared in 10 episodes of the hit show as Puddy, famously painted his face and chest when attending a Devils game in the show. His energy and enthusiasm, along with his phrases “Let’s go Devils!” and “gotta support the team” were huge hits and indelibly tied him with the Devils.

On Tuesday, he showed up to the game with his face painted and wearing his Martin Brodeur Jersey. Warburton pumped up the team as they prepared to enter the ice at Prudential Center.

Then Puddy dropped the ceremonial puck before the game. He even pulled off his shirt to reveal his chest was painted.

The best part of all: The Devils gave away this gem of a bobblehead:

Forever supporting the team.

When it comes to accuracy, that is one of the best bobbleheads we’ve ever seen.

And because no post on Puddy and the Devils would be complete without it, here’s the video:
