Ronda Rousey went off on a fan last week at the New York City stop on the 2013 World Tour for asking her a sex question.
The video above doesn’t show the question that was asked, but MMA writer Eric Holden, who took the video, says a fan asked Rousey how often she has sex before fights.
“Who said that?” Rousey barked in response.
“It’s not an appropriate question to ask,” Rousey told the fan. “If your mother was standing behind you and heard you ask that question, what would she say to you?”
Rousey is as confrontational as it gets, so seeing her go after a fan wasn’t too surprising. But it is somewhat surprising that a question about her sex life set her off when she seems to be so open about the subject.
Last August, Rousey boasted to Conan O’Brien that she likes having sex before fights. A few months later, she elaborated on that subject during an interview with Jim Rome. I guess Rousey’s reaction to the inquiries is all about the manner in which the questions are asked.
