American swimmers Ryan Lochte and James Feigen have been indicted in Brazil for filing a false police report, according to Globo News.

Here’s the tweet Globo sent about the matter:

— GloboNews (@GloboNews) August 18, 2016

Lochte is caught up in a scandal in which he went public saying he and other swimmers were robbed at gunpoint while returning from a night of partying early Sunday morning. Lochte later changed his story to say he and the others were robbed at a gas station, though he maintained a gun was involved.

Brazilian police later reportedly admitted guns were involved but said they were used to keep the rowdy athletes in line. Officials in Brazil have been persistent in pointing out lies and inconsistencies in the stories told by the swimmers.

The swimmers would likely have to pay a fine but not face jail time if they are found guilty.
