LAFC assistant coach Zak Abdel confronted Zlatan Ibrahimovic following his team’s 3-2 loss to the LA Galaxy on Sunday, and it looks like Abdel had good reason for being so worked up.
Abdel appeared to be complaining about an elbow by Ibrahimovic on Mohamed El-Munir, and Ibrahimovic brushed him off and may or may not have cursed at the coach. If you watch the video replay of the elbow, it did look pretty egregious.
This is just unbelievable!!! ElMounir is going to have a surgery tomorrow! pic.twitter.com/XQnT8xEC5K

After the game, Kevin Baxter of the Los Angeles Times reported that El-Munir is scheduled to see a specialist on Monday and may, in fact, end up needing surgery.
.@LAFC defender Mohamed El-Munir will see a specialist Monday and may need surgery after taking a Zlatan Ibrahimovic elbow to the temple late in Friday's El Trafico. @MLS disciplinary committee may have a look at this.

Ibrahimovic talked some serious trash leading up to the big intra-city rivalry game, and he played outstanding in the Galaxy’s 3-2 win. However, his elbow could lead to disciplinary action, especially if El-Munir’s resulting injury is as bad as it sounds.
