Ronda Rousey may want to wrestle longer than she initially planned

Ronda Rousey is enjoying her time in wrestling so much that she may want to do it longer than she planned.

Rousey is set to face Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam on Sunday, just seven months after signing with the WWE. Rousey told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne that when she signed in January, there was a clear timeline about her commitment to the wrestling company because she intended to start a family with husband Travis Browne. But now that she’s enjoying it so much, that timeline may change.

“We had a set timeline set, and now we aren’t so sure about it because I love it so much,” Rousey told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. “I guess that’s the best thing that could’ve happened, that I would love it so much it would be so hard to stop. I can see why people have a hard time leaving this industry because it’s such a joy to be a part of every day.”

That is great news for the wrestling promotion. Rousey is a big draw and interesting name, so the longer she is a part of the company, the better.

Rousey is also balancing somewhat of an acting career. Her movie “Mile 22” is also just now coming out in theaters. And for what it’s worth, Rousey is not ruling out a return to MMA.
