With a healthy Baron Davis, the Warriors are capable of beating anyone, except the Spurs.

And yes, they would give the Suns a run for
their money. I would love to see a Warrior and Suns match up for the WCF.

The Warriors are a great/hot team and so are the Suns. If they did get to play against each other, it would be hard to determine a clear cut winner. It would have to be judged one game at a time.

I tend to disagree with that last suggestion sunofa -- I really think it was just a bad matchup with Golden St. I think Dallas would've reached the finals otherwise. But yeah, I think you might be right that nobody else will lose to golden st.

I mean, obviously the answer is: both.

But whenever I think about Golden State matching up with any other team, I can't see any other team losing to Golden State. Maaaybe the Suns, just because it would come down to who's shooting well that day, and that can go either way.

But the Spurs? Come on.

And the reason for that is poise, experience, and the little things.

The Spurs would constantly hammer them inside, causing fouls to slow them down. The Spurs would have settled down and worked their way out of double teams into open slashers. They would have dicated the pace and rotated well on defense. Basically, everything the Mavs failed miserably on. Bear in mind that I hate hate hate the Spurs for their boring style of play, but they would (and will, if they meet) kill the Warriors.

I think this was more of the Mavs not having the necessary things that separate good teams from great teams in the playoffs this season. It's strange because they definitely seemed to have it last season. I wonder what changed. Maybe MavsMoneyBall was right, and the Finals last year scarred them.
