Jordan Reed reportedly dealing with his sixth concussion
Jordan Reed missed practice again on Thursday, and some are wondering if the Washington Redskins tight end needs to consider giving up football.
The Redskins revealed earlier in the week that Reed was being evaluated for a concussion after reporting symptoms. Unfortunately, Reed knows those symptoms all too well. If he did sustain a concussion, it would be his sixth since he was in college at Florida in 2011.
This is apparently SIX concussions for Jordan Reed. Forget playing Sunday. He needs to think about not playing ever.

Reed’s most recent concussion was last season, and it forced him to miss two games. There has been no word on if or how long the latest will keep him out.
You can understand why people are concerned for Reed’s well-being, especially given all we have learned over the past few years about the long-term effects of head injuries. One concussion is too many. Six before age 27 is downright terrifying.
