Young girl Sam Gordon dominates her tackle football league (Video)

One of the top players in a boys’ youth football league in Utah is actually a young girl. A video posted to YouTube on Monday shows a compilation of highlights by a girl named Sam Gordon who is dominating her Ute Conference tackle football league.

Gordon, who is from the Salt Lake City area, is playing in the Gremlin Division (mostly 9-year-olds). According to the video uploaded by Sam’s father, Brent, Gordon scored 35 times and ran for 1,911 yards, averaging 8.2 yards per carry in her league. Looking at the video, it’s easy to see why.

The young girl has tons of speed and is able to outrun her opponents to the end zone, and beat them to the edge. She even demonstrates a strong ability to break tackles.

She looks shorter than most of the boys, but she is no less athletic. Playing with a ponytail sticking out of her helmet, Gordon is easily identifiable wearing neon pink or green socks. She’s also easily identifiable because she’s often standing in the end zone after scoring a touchdown. She is fun to watch.
