Players have to receive 75% or more of the votes to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and no other player was higher than 60% this time.
Beltran was a 9-time All-Star, 3-time Gold Glove and 2-time Silver Slugger winner who also won a World Series. He spent 20 seasons in the league, with seven seasons with the New York Mets and seven with the Kansas City Royals.
Jones was a 10-time Gold Glove winner and a 5-time All-Star who spent 12 of his 17 MLB seasons with the Atlanta Braves.
Since 1981, only two center fielders have been elected to the Hall of Fame: Ken Griffey Jr. and Kirby Puckett Jr. On Tuesday, Jones and Beltran made the Hall of Fame, meaning the number of center fielders since 1981 has now doubled.

Since 1981, only two other center fielders had been elected: Ken Griffey Jr. and Kirby Puckett. Rightful due for one of the most vital positions and two incredible players.
Beltran and Jones will officially be inducted on July 26 in Cooperstown.
