Miami Marlins relief pitcher Chad Qualls had an ultimate fail moment on Tuesday night.
Qualls allowed a leadoff triple to Marlon Byrd to start the top of the eighth between the Marlins and New York Mets, but he managed to escape the inning without allowing a run, maintaining a 2-2 tie. Naturally, he was pretty pumped after getting out of the jam, and he decided to celebrate with a good old fist pump. It didn’t go well.
Qualls totally snipered as he went to celebrate, falling to the ground as if he had been shot.
Here’s another angle of the fail moment:

What’s incredible is that Qualls seems to have a knack for slipping and falling in embarrassing situations. Remember this?
Some folks just have talent you can’t deny.
