Chris Sale tried to get into Royals’ clubhouse after ejection
Chris Sale really wanted a piece of the Kansas City Royals after being ejected following a benches-clearing brawl on Thursday. Reports said he tried to get into the Royals’ clubhouse after being ejected, and the White Sox pitcher did not deny the accusation.
Numerous sources confirmed to me that White Sox starter Chris Sale tried to get in Kansas City locker room after the fight. (Turned away)

“There’s really nothing to talk about. It is what it is. What’s done is done,” Sale said Friday when asked about the report via CSN Chicago’s Dan Haynes.
Sports Radio 810 in KC’s Nate Bukaty reported that Sale wanted a piece of Yordano Ventura, who sparked the brawl by cursing at Adam Eaton.
Was told by a good source that Sale came to the Royals clubhouse in the 8th inning, looking to fight Ventura.

Though reports say he wanted to fight Ventura, the more likely scenario is that he wanted a piece of Lorenzo Cain. Sale threw at Cain’s legs during the game, and the two got into it during the fight. He probably wanted things to continue.
This is nothing new. Several years ago we saw Prince Fielder try to get into the Dodgers’ clubhouse after an incident because he was ticked off. Just don’t expect matters between the Royals and White Sox to end after what happened Thursday. This will continue throughout the season.
