Jayson Werth says critics can ‘kiss his a–‘ during postgame interview (Video)
Jayson Werth delivered the game-winning hit for the Nationals on Wednesday. Afterward, he had a message for those who have been criticizing him.
In the top of the 12th inning, the Cubs took a 4-3 lead courtesy of an Addison Russell single. In the bottom half of the inning, Michael Taylor singled to drive in Danny Espinosa, who was hit by a pitch, to tie the game. Two batters later, Werth came up to the plate with the winning run on first base.
Prior to the season, there were some who wondered what Werth, now 37-years-old, had left in the tank. When asked about that after the win, Werth gave this fantastic response.

Tell them how you really feel, Jayson!

Werth came into Wednesday’s game hitting .333/.457/.583 so far in June and appears to be putting his early season struggles behind him. For the year, he’s hitting .248 with 10 home runs, 11 doubles, and 37 RBI in 59 games.
