Jung-ho Kang has tattoo of himself on his leg
People getting tattoos that display portraits of someone else are not uncommon. You’ll see folks who have tattoos of historical figures or icons (think Mike Tyson and his Che or Mao tats). Then there are those who get portraits of family members permanently inked on their body (like this). But how often do you see someone who gets a portrait of himself tattooed on his body? Not too often, which is what makes Jung-ho Kang’s tattoo so odd.
Kang, an infielder from South Korea who placed third in NL Rookie of the Year voting last season, actually has a self-portrait tattooed on his lower leg. He showed it off in this video from KDKA, which did a story on his attempt to return from a broken leg:
Kang says he got the tattoo two years ago. If you ask us, KDKA missed out by failing to find out more information about the tattoo. What led to it? Did he lose a bet? Whatever the case, at least it will never be worse than this abominable Tebow Time tattoo.
