Actor Paul Rudd is a huge Kansas City Royals fan, and he made his way onto the field on Wednesday night after his team finished off its sweep of the Baltimore Orioles in the ALCS. Rudd, who grew up in Kansas just outside of Kansas City, Mo., celebrated with the Royals and had big plans for the after-party.
During an interview with KMBC 9 News, Rudd joked that there was going to be a kegger at his mom’s house and everyone was invited.
“I’m gonna be partying at my mom’s house!” he said. “Party at my mom’s, man. She’s out of town. I got a keg. It’s gonna be sweet … $5 cover!”
The Royals made easy work out of the O’s in the ALCS and now await the winner of the St. Louis Cardinals-San Francisco Giants series. The most amazing part about Kansas City’s run? They haven’t lost a single playoff game, having won their first eight including the wild card play-in. We don’t blame Rudd for being stoked. His team couldn’t be hotter at the moment.
