Report: Tim Anderson called Royals pitcher ‘f—ing n-word’
What did Tim Anderson say to get himself suspended a game for a game for language used during the Chicago White Sox-Kansas City Royals incident on Wednesday?
According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the White Sox shortstop called Royals pitcher Brad Keller a “weak a– f—ing n-word.”
Anderson reportedly said that phrase within earshot of umpires, which led to his ejection.
Anderson was hit by a pitch as retribution for celebrating a home run earlier in the game with an emphatic bat toss. MLB seems to be supporting celebrations on home runs these days, so seeing a player get suspended when he was the one who was hit by the pitcher seemed odd. But now the reason why makes more sense.
