Twins’ ticket sales surge after Carlos Correa signing
If the Minnesota Twins were hoping for a spike in fan interest after signing shortstop Carlos Correa, the plan seems to be working out.
The Twins have sold over 100,000 single-game tickets since Correa’s signing was reported.

It’s unclear how many single-game tickets the Twins sell in mid-March during a typical year.
Correa is probably the biggest free agent signing in the history of the franchise. Minnesota isn’t known as a major destination for star players for multiple reasons, so it is perfectly logical for this news to be hugely exciting for the fans.
Regular viewers of Twins games will certainly know that Correa has killed the team in the past. They know how good he is, and that fact actually seems to have helped the team land him.
