Yasiel Puig has funny comment about kissing coach Turner Ward
Turner Ward has been racking up the smooches from Yasiel Puig over the last 24 hours.
Puig gives Ward, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ hitting coach, a kiss in celebration after he hits home runs. The Dodgers outfielder had two occasions to give Ward kisses on Friday, and he upped that amount to three with a spectacular game on Saturday.
After the game, Puig said he gave Ward a kiss after the first one, and Ward gave him a kiss after the second. So for the third, Puig joked that a kiss on the lips was next, but they decided that was taking it too far so Ward did it by covering Puig’s lips with his hand.
Yasiel Puig smooched Turner Ward's cheek after his first homer, and Ward returned the favor after the second. Puig suggested after the third homer they kiss on the lips, but "that's a little bit too much, and he put his hand in front of his mouth," Puig said.

The kiss tradition between them dates back to last season.
“That’s our thing. That’s what we do,” Puig told MLB.com last year. “We have been doing it all season, so of course I was going to give him a kiss in the World Series. It was a big game, a special game for us.”
Puig credits Ward for helping him with his approach at the plate, which includes more discipline. Dodgers fans are hoping for more kisses between them over the next month and a half.
