Report: Cavs locker room ‘particularly downbeat’ after Game 1 loss
The Cleveland Cavaliers had a chance to steal Game 1 from the Golden State Warriors, but they ultimately fell in overtime. No Game 1 loss can really be described as back-breaking, but the loss of a star player would be.
Kyrie Irving appeared to be in serious pain after leaving Thursday night’s game. He was spotted limping badly in the locker room and left the arena using crutches. That probably explains the mood in Cleveland’s locker room, which was reportedly very somber.
Been in some losing Finals locker rooms the past few years. The Cavaliers' is particularly downbeat

The Cavs wouldn’t be that bummed out over one loss in a seven-game series — especially with a leader like LeBron James. But if they know there is a chance they could lose Irving for Game 2 and potentially beyond, that would be a significant blow to Cleveland’s title hopes.
If you want to know how the Cavs feel about Irving’s ability, just ask LeBron. The former Duke star is an incredibly important part of their offense.
