David Lee could reportedly return to the Warriors
Hide your kids, hide your wife, and hide your husband because the Warriors are trying to sign everybody out here.
According to a report by Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday, All-Star big man David Lee may possibly be in line for a return to Golden State.
Word filtering around is that David Lee may be in line to end up back in Golden State with the team he helped win the title in 2015.

Lee, 33, was a walking double-double during his five seasons with the Warriors and was a member of their 2015 championship team. He was traded to Boston last offseason and then finished out the year in Dallas after being waived by the Celtics in February. In total, Lee averaged 7.8 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game in 16.4 minutes per game last season.
As a classic post-up big who doesn’t have much range and struggles to defend, Lee isn’t an ideal player for the small-ball era. In fact, the Warriors didn’t even reach their ceiling until Lee got injured at the start of the 2014-15 season and was permanently replaced by Draymond Green in the starting lineup. But Lee still represents serviceable frontcourt depth, which the Dubs could still use even after signing Zaza Pachulia and David West. His case is also likely bolstered by the fact that he’s already very familiar with the way the team operates. We’ll see if Lee can separate himself from the pack of ravenous vets foaming at the mouth for the opportunity to join the Golden State machine.
