Report: Derrick Rose has torn meniscus, out for season
New York Knicks point guard Derrick Rose will reportedly not play again this season due to a torn meniscus.
The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the story Sunday. There is no word on the severity of the tear or how long he’d need for recovery.
New York’s Derrick Rose has suffered a torn meniscus in his knee and will miss remainder of the season, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Rose will end what is likely to be his only season in New York by playing 64 games and averaging 18 points and 4.4 assists per contest.
Given Rose’s long history of knee issues, this isn’t good news for him with free agency looming. If he hadn’t done so already, he can pretty much forget about making these sorts of demands once he hits the open market.
