Dwyane Wade has one interesting theory as to why his Banana Boat brother Carmelo Anthony gets so much hate from fans.
In a Twitter Q&A on Wednesday night, the Chicago Bulls guard was asked just that and replied with a clever reference to the legend of Hoodie Melo.

It’s hard not to love Hoodie Melo, whose myth began this offseason with a series of Instagram videos Anthony posted of himself working out in a hoodie. Since then, the phenomenon has grown into a playable Hoodie Melo character with a game-high 98 rating in the latest “NBA 2K” video game.
As for Wade, it’s certainly a Hall of Fame-caliber tweet, especially since there’s a not-too-distant timeline where he and Anthony end up on the same team.
