Frank Vogel has the type of sense of humor that leaves you stuck somewhere between wanting to laugh and smack yourself in the head with a hammer, and the Los Angeles Lakers coach prides himself on having an arsenal of “dad jokes” at his disposal. You ready for his best?
During a Lakers media event this week, Vogel was asked to share his favorite dad joke. He didn’t disappoint.

With jokes like that, Vogel must be used to hearing just as many groans as chuckles. We can only imagine how cheap humor like that must go over in an NBA locker room.
Remember, this is the same Vogel who gave LeBron James a funny birthday gift earlier this season, so we know how much he enjoys keeping things loose. Perhaps that attitude is why the Los Angeles Lakers look like the best team in the Western Conference after a disappointing first year with LeBron. Anthony Davis may also have a little to do with that, but we’ll give Vogel and his dad humor some credit.
