John Wall cheered on the Washington Capitals during their playoff opener on Thursday, and he did so with the help of a medical accessory.
The Capitals got their Stanley Cup defense underway when the Carolina Hurricanes visited Capital One Arena. A few members of other Washington D.C. sports teams were in attendance like Max Scherzer and Trea Turner of the Nationals as well as Bradley Beal and John Wall of the Wizards. The latter needed the assistance of a knee walker to get around the arena.
You can see it in this photo shared by the Wizards of Beal, Wall and head coach Scott Brooks:

In late December, Wall was ruled out for the remainder of the season with an injury to his left heel. He later suffered a torn Achilles tendon as a result of a fall in his home, which could keep him out for all of next season.
It was good to see Wall in the arena, even as a spectator. Unfortunately, it may be a while before he returns as a player.
