Kevin Durant, Others Say Kobe Would Beat LeBron One-On-One (Video)

Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are both pretty good.  Any argument about which player is the best in the NBA would likely result in blue faces.  However, it is interesting to see that there seems to be a general consensus among NBA players that Kobe is the better one-on-one player.  Check out this video of Kevin Durant and other players — with the exception of John Wall — saying they think Kobe would take LeBron in a one-on-one matchup, courtesy of the LA Times:

That would be a match-up worth watching, but I think I’d take Kobe too based on his perimeter game.  Both guys can drive as well as anyone in the league, with LeBron obviously having a little more strength than Kobe going to the basket.  But Bryant’s ability to pull up and knock down shots from anywhere on the court gives him the edge.

On a side note, how modest is Durant being by saying he’s nowhere near LeBron, Kobe, or Dwyane Wade at the top of the NBA.  K.D. lighting up Rucker Park over the summer was no coincidence.  He’s a beast and would give any one of those guys a run for their money in a one-on-one game of his own.
