Now that he is playing in Texas, Klay Thompson is dating a famous music artist from the state.
The Dallas Mavericks sharpshooter Thompson is officially dating rapper Megan Thee Stallion, TMZ Sports reported on Thursday. The report adds that the two are dating for “at least” the summer.
This confirms the rumors that lit up social media earlier this week when a man who strongly resembled Thompson was spotted in the background of a poolside photo that Megan Thee Stallion posted to her Instagram page. Now it appears that it was indeed Thompson who was lounging by the pool with the “Hiss” rapper.

Thompson, 35, joined the Mavericks last summer after spending the first 12 seasons of his NBA career with the Golden State Warriors. He averaged 14.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game for Dallas last season and is now adding to his impressive Jeter-esque dating history.
As for Megan, 30, she is a three-time Grammy Award winner who has nearly 25 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Megan also previously dated NBA forward Torrey Craig and once even received an overture from Shaquille O’Neal.
Meanwhile, Thompson has had a difficult last few months after failing to make the playoffs with the Mavericks and then suffering a loss in his personal life. But the five-time NBA All-Star and four-time NBA champion is now back on his feet again with a new relationship with Texas’ own Megan Thee Stallion.
