Kobe Bryant and Vanessa proceeding with divorce, reportedly ‘really good friends’
After they were seen in public together with their children at an L.A. Kings game earlier this week, speculation was stronger than ever that a reconciliation between Kobe and Vanessa Bryant may be in the works. Combine that appearance with the kiss they shared back in February after a Lakers game and it certainly appeared as though the two were well on their way to working out their differences. According to TMZ, the divorce is still expected to happen.
TMZ’s sources say Vanessa and Kobe remain “really good friends” and that the split is expected to move on as expected. It was previously reported that Kobe was aggressively trying to save his marriage and that Vanessa was at least open to the idea of working things out, but as of now it appears nothing has changed.
If the couple does indeed intend to finalize their divorce, they are likely just trying to keep it from getting ugly and becoming a dream scenario for the tabloids. Not to mention, it makes more sense to keep things civil since they have young children together. If that is the case, kudos to them for taking the mature route.
