Nate Robinson calls for Bulls to sign him in wake of Rajon Rondo injury
Nate Robinson will never miss an opportunity to shoot his shot.
In the wake of the news on Friday that the Chicago Bulls will be without former All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo for an indefinite period due to a fractured right thumb, Robinson took to Instagram to offer them his services.
The now 32-year-old Robinson is actually a former Bull, having suited up in all 82 games for them in 2012-13 and rattling off a memorable run in that year’s playoffs. But he hasn’t played in the NBA in the last two years, sans a grand total of two appearances for the New Orleans Pelicans in 2015-16.
Regardless, the 5-foot-9 guard hasn’t given up on a comeback, hopping on the D-League trail and even posting a similar Instagram message for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers a few months ago. All things considered, you definitely can’t knock Robinson for a lack of persistence.
