Pascal Siakam reacts to video of him looking possessed before Game 6

Pascal Siakam looks up

Any publicity is good publicity, as far as Indiana Pacers star Pascal Siakam is concerned.

Siakam had the internet in a frenzy before Thursday’s NBA Finals Game 6 between his Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Fans circulated a video of Siakam looking possessed while in the tunnel at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind.

In the video, Siakam turned his head up during a team huddle. As the Cameroonian looked up to the ceiling, his eyes turned pure white in a moment that looked straight out of the latest Blumhouse horror flick (video here).

On Friday, Pascal reacted to his freaky viral clip.

“They said I was a demon?” said Siakam. “I mean, I wish I had like a 30-point game or something. The spirit took over. … At least they’re talking about it. Talking about me a little bit.”

Siakam has been the Pacers’ unsung hero throughout the 2025 NBA playoffs. While most fans have fixated on Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton, Siakam has quietly been Indiana’s leading scorer, averaging 20.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists across 22 postseason games.

Spicy P tallied 16 points and 13 rebounds in the Pacers’ 108-91 win over the Thunder in Game 6. He certainly looked possessed by a demonic basketball spirit during the contest as he rose up for a monster jam on Jalen Williams.
