The Pistons are looking for a new head coach after parting ways with Stan Van Gundy, under whom the team improved but failed to take a significant leap forward.
Casey most recently served as the Toronto Raptors’ head coach for the past seven seasons, leading them to five straight playoff berths. Beilein is the head coach at Michigan and has led the Wolverines to the NCAA national championship game twice. One report says Beilein has legitimate interest in the job and is not just using it as leverage.
