Through their first few rounds of their fight Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Amir Khan’s speed appeared to be a problem Canelo Alvarez was trying to solve. It didn’t take Canelo too long to figure it out.
In the sixth round, Canelo knocked Khan out with a stiff right hand that put Khan to sleep:

Canelo landed 51 percent of his power punches compared to 36 for Khan. He also landed a total of 45 right hands throughout the fight — 25 to the body — according to CompuBox stats.
Immediately after winning, Alvarez did two things that really make us like him. One, he went to the canvas to check on Khan as he was worried for his opponent’s health. Two, he called GGG into the ring to talk about the two of them squaring off in what has been a highly anticipated fight for boxing fans.
