Mike Tyson drops F-bomb while being interviewed by kid in viral video

Mike Tyson in an interview with a young girl

Mike Tyson is known for being one of the most intense people to ever live, and the former heavyweight champion provided a surreal reminder of that this week as he prepares for his upcoming fight against Jake Paul.

Tyson was interviewed by 13-year-old reporter Jazlyn Guerra, who has a huge social media following with her “Jazzys World TV.” When Guerra asked Tyson what type of legacy he wants to leave behind when he’s gone, Iron Mike responded like he was being interviewed by Jim Gray rather than a kid.

“I don’t know, I don’t believe in the word legacy. I just think that’s another word for ego. Legacy doesn’t mean nothing,” Tyson said. “That’s just some word everybody grabbed onto. Someone said that word and everyone grabbed onto the word so now it’s used every five seconds. It means absolutely nothing to me. I’m just passing through. I’m gonna die and it’s gonna be over. Who cares about legacy after that?

“I’m gonna die. I want people to think I’m this, I’m great … no, we’re nothing. We’re just dead. We’re dust. We’re absolutely nothing. My legacy is nothing. Can you really imagine somebody saying, ‘I want my legacy to be this way?’ You’re dead. You think somebody really wants to think about you? … Who the f– cares about me when I’m gone?”

You truly have to see the video to believe it:

Tyson is 58, which makes him more than twice as old as the 27-year-old Paul. It goes without saying that Tyson is going to need his usual bulldog mentality if he wants to stand a chance of winning the fight. He has tried to use some intimidation tactics in the months leading up to the fight, so maybe he just forgot to let his guard down when speaking to a 13-year-old.

Tyson and Paul will fight on Friday night. The event will be broadcast live on Netflix.
