Mark Turgeon’s Maryland Terrapins secured a stunning comeback victory at Minnesota on Wednesday night, but the coach still found something to complain about after the win.
The Terps were down 16 at the half and only led once at 4-3 in the second minute of the game. Yet they came back and won on Darryl Morsell’s 3-pointer with four seconds left to improve to 23-4 on the season.
After the win, Turgeon complained about the late start time in Minnesota.

“My goal is to be in my driveway before 4:30 (AM). We played a 9:00 PM game on a weeknight in Minnesota. It makes no sense,” Turgeon said in his postgame interview on Big Ten Network.
Interestingly, Big Ten Network cut out that part of the interview, probably because of the negative subject matter.
looks like Turgeon’s final remark (complaining about an away game tipping off at 9 p.m. CT) was notoriously cut off from social post https://t.co/eJxlxilxCj

Turgeon has been complaining lately; he also took issue with the officiating in Sunday’s loss to Ohio State.
Sure, playing a game that late on the road on a weeknight is ridiculous. But until Turgeon and Maryland are ready to give back all the money they make from Big Ten Network, they should probably stop biting the hand that feeds them.
